CONCEPT

QUR’AN | MAJLIS

CEI in collaboration with Rumi’s Cave aims to provide a platform to discuss the Qur’an in a warm and relaxing environment. The gatherings are designed to make the Qur’an enjoyable and accessible with in-depth English reading, followed by a communal Arabic reading of Sura Yasin, joint prayers for our loved ones, and delicious food and relaxing mint tea.

1. QUR’AN

The gatherings are designed to make the Qur’an enjoyable in the relaxing setting of the cave, reflecting on the verses of the chosen Sura with in-depth English reading.

2. MAJLIS

The warm and friendly setting of the Majlis, with carpets and cushions, will allow you to sit back and ponder on the greatest stories from the greatest book.

3. OUD

Listen carefully as we gain a deeper understanding and valuable insights from the stories we reflect upon, whilst the air fills with the fumes of Oudh.

4. RECITATION

We follow up the evening with a powerful communal recitation of Sura Yasin and a joint prayer for all of our loved ones past and present.

5. FOOD

The gathering ends with delicious food with fantastic company, giving us the chance to reflect on the lessons learned.

6. TEA

What better way to end the gathering with some relaxing mint tea.
