The Q-Institute will be a nexus for a growing community of people dedicated to engaging the Qur’an with facilities for socialising and networking as well as teaching and learning.
The Cafe and Art Gallery will enable Q-Club to grow and reach an even wider audience, and an elegant members’ only space will nurture like-minded individuals to network, support and deliver CEI and Qx workstreams.
The Institute will serve both the grass root and the academic communities with dedicated programmes and facilities for digital, podcast and social media content production to enrich the wider community and culture.

THE ARTS
CAFE AND ART GALLERY
The Q-Institute will house a café and art gallery for experiencing and generating art, such as poetry and calligraphy, which exposes the beauty of the Qur’an to a wider community.
HISTORY
COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
We have a history of widening access and bringing new people to the Qur’an.
For example, the Q-Club has been running for over a decade: people gather in the open and relaxed atmosphere of cafés in Soho and Fitzrovia for a guided reading, contemplation and study of a new sura of the Qur’an every year.
Q-Club has outgrown its current venues and is in desperate need of a home: The Q-Institute Café.
MEMBERS’ LOUNGE
CREATING CONNECTIONS
The Q-Institute will house an elegant members’ only space to nurture like-minded individuals to support and deliver CEI and Qx workstreams.
Members and research fellows will have access for networking, use of on-site materials, shared working facilities and private events.

🔸A dedicated single afternoon to study the key concepts of a specific Sura and its structure with Dr Ashraf and an invited expert
🔸Brand new format for Qur’anic engagement that presents material and analysis through two complementary lenses and opens conversations between our Qx teaching and its academic roots
🔸Attendance is in-person or online, taking place twice a year

🔸 Anyone who wants to delve deeper into Qur'anic studies, and hear first-hand from experts that have spent decades studying and teaching the Qur’an (Arabic is not mandatory)

🔸An opportunity to study a sura from two angles, delivered by two experts
🔸To access and support Qx to broaden and deepen access to the Qur’an
