We will be heading over to one of the University of Oxford’s grandest dining halls for a halal formal dinner on Saturday evening. QI 2025 formal dinner will be held at Lady Margaret Hall.

Formal dinners, typically held weekly (or daily in some colleges), involve students dressing in formal attire and being served a 3-course meal in the college hall. QI students will have the option to select either a meat or vegetarian menu option at registration.
Formal dinners are not only about the food. They provide an opportunity to socialise and discuss ideas with fellow students from differing backgrounds of study.
Students take the time to contemplate and converse with peers, a process many Oxford academics say is vital to the development of a student during their time at university.

Past formal dinners have been held at Sommerville College, St John’s College and Keble College.
