In order to register your child, you must ensure that they are registered for each term. This can be done online using the link below. Our term dates can be found on our website.

Yes, there is a discount for multiple siblings per term per registration.
To support our teaching syllabus, we do not accept new students once the term has started. We open registration at minimum a few weeks before term and encourage registering online as soon as possible as we will close once class allocation is at total capacity. We therefore encourage parents to enrol as early as possible prior to term commencement.
The Kid’s Academy is run by volunteers, it is deliberately set up at an affordable rate which helps us with covering running expenditure only. Therefore, there is no option for this specific programme to pay in instalments.

Core course/teaching material is provided. In addition, we ask students bring note pads and pens to work on. For students in Group 3 and above (Groups 3, 4 and 5), we ask they bring a scientific calculator and the English Translation of Quran by Professor Abdul Haleem.
Attendance is in person only.
To ensure minimal disruption, we don’t offer drop-in sessions. If after the first lesson, you are unhappy with our syllabus/teaching, please see the admin staff where we can support you and discuss your concerns. If you are unsatisfied and would like to withdraw, we will offer you a refund.
CEI has been running the Kids Academy at Hazelwick School since 2008. Prior to that, we were teaching at local community centres.
All teachers are qualified professionals who have at a minimum degree level education. They have experience of the subject that they are teaching at minimum A-Level standard. The syllabus is set centrally by qualified subject matter experts and for Maths and English, the syllabus supports the national curriculum.
The lessons are designed to help students pass exams through techniques and past paper questions. The Islamic Studies is based on refining English language and literature skills using Islamic texts. All teachers have been through adult learning at CEI for a number of years.
No, you must ensure that the correct student is enrolled at the beginning of each term. Enrolments are non-transferable between children.
We suggest you partner with a fellow student to catch up on any missed session material.
There is no availability to give your place to anybody else when you cannot attend or obtain a refund. Additionally, there is no option for students to be provided teaching for missed lessons.
No, all students must attend all subjects; there is no option to pick and choose.
Kid’s Academy is delivered by volunteers as extra support to supplement their school syllabus. Therefore, we are unable to provide teacher notes for any missed classes. Most sessions will have teaching material provided through worksheets or booklets. This will give you an indication of material being taught. Additionally, please speak with the teachers or admin staff at the end of the session who can further advise.
Yes, these are a mandatory part of our curriculum.
Yes, this is mandatory part of our curriculum. It provides you with the opportunity to meet all teaching staff, to discuss student progress and receive end of term test results. The teachers can also support you with any additional questions you have on student performance. Additionally, you can find out more about the Academy and the term.
