SIX TEACHERS | SIX CORE SUBJECTS
CEI are privileged to have six highly qualified teachers from different backgrounds teach in the London Academy. The modular approach to each subject provides depth; the different teachers delivering different subjects provides breadth.
The core modules have been taught by the same teacher since the Academy began in 2010. During this period, they have acquired and developed a wealth of experience and supplementary teaching material.

There are two sessions each week, and the teachers rotate between each room. This ensures that students get exposure to several different teaching styles, and the change over and short break each evening helps maintain concentration.
Each subject is delivered by a different teacher, and this provides sharp and focused learning each week.
The London Academy is based upon a programme that allows students to access the rich variety of Islamic sciences. The course text for each module is a classic text authored by well known scholars.
G1 core subjects: (1) Tafsir Sura Ya Sin, (2) 40 Hadith by Imam Nawawi, (3) Shama’il by Imam Tirmidhi
A1 core subjects: (1) Tafsir Sura Kahf, (2) Aqidah, (3) Hanafi Fiqh .
In addition to these core modules the London Academy facilitates a number of exciting modules every year.
For example, in the current academic year we will be covering Imam Haddad’s Book of Assistance, Tafsir Sura al-Ṣāffāt, and Ghazali’s Book of Remembrance (Dhikr).
