CONCEPT

QUR’AN | BOOKCLUB

Q-Club provides an accessible platform to discuss the Qur’an in a relaxed environment over a cup of coffee/tea and cake, all in the heart of Soho. Each year, we read one sura in English from beginning to end. 

The fortnightly gatherings intend to make the Qur’an accessible, relevant and enjoyable, allowing attendees to engage with and contemplate the divine revelation.

1. THE PREP

Try to have a quick read of the material beforehand (not to worry if you can’t) and remember to bring your book as we often explore other verses in other suras.

2. THE CUPPA

Every great discussion starts with a cup of tea (or coffee). The cafe becomes very busy quickly so be sure to arrive early to buy drinks, cakes and get a seat.

3. THE CRAFT

Time to start reading and taking notes collectively! We look and point out the lessons from the suras closely, ready to discuss and reflect further.

4. THE DISCUSSION

We then put our brains together to forge out our thoughts and understanding of the lessons derived from the verses we have read.
