Pre: Think About a Qur’anic Passage and Theme Before Q-Reflect
Your Q-Reflect experience starts well before the gathering.
The selected sura passage will be shared in advance, giving you dedicated time to read, absorb, and reflect in your own way. You’ll be encouraged to explore the theme through other Qur’anic passages, hadith, spiritual writings, and contemporary texts all helping you build a layered understanding of the message. This quiet, personal reflection lays the foundation for a richer, more meaningful encounter during the event itself.
Q-Club Style Commentary
Rooted in the spirit of Q-Club, this segment invites participants to revisit familiar passages with fresh eyes.
Led by Dr Ashraf, the Qur’an is read in English in an open, accessible setting which is designed to be engaging, applicable, and thought provoking. Together, we explore a Qur’anic passage, drawing out its themes, language, and relevance to everyday life.
Q-Reflect continues this tradition giving space for contemplation, connection, and thoughtful dialogue with the Qur’an at its centre.
Group Reflections & Discussions
This is where Q-Reflect truly comes to life.
In small, purposefully formed groups, participants dive into rich, reflective dialogue — drawing on the workshop models developed through Q-Immersion. Led by facilitators who have committed time, effort, and resources to CEI programmes and the vision of the Q-Institute, each session is designed to maximise engagement and deepen understanding.
Expect breakout groups, QI-style tables, colour-coded themes, and targeted prompts, all centred around the pre-selected verses that anchor the session. You’ll work through questions, share insights, explore supplementary material such as hadith, tafsir, or spiritual texts, and contribute to a shared pool of meaning.
This is more than discussion. It is a dynamic, workshop-based experience that invites every participant to think deeply, speak confidently, and reflect meaningfully. With limited spaces, this is a rare opportunity to encounter the Qur’an through guided discovery and collaborative reflection.
