Shaykh Babikir will cover Chapters (9) Commanding Good and Forbidding Evil and (10) Following the Sunnah from Imam al-Ghazali’s Outer Actions (al-Arbaʿīn fī Uṣūl al-Dīn). This book is a summary of what is perhaps his magnum opus, Iḥyāʾ ʿUlūm al-Dīn.

 

 

 

COURSE DESCRIPTION

Shaykh Babikir will cover Chapters (9) Commanding Good and Forbidding Evil and (10) Following the Sunnah from Imam al-Ghazali’s Outer Actions (al-Arbaʿīn fī Uṣūl al-Dīn). This book is a summary of what is perhaps his magnum opus, Iḥyāʾ ʿUlūm al-Dīn.
 

Chapter (9) presents this duty as a pillar of faith and a safeguard that keeps the community righteous and anchored within divine bounds. Chapter (10) emphasizes shaping every outward action and inner habit—from waking, eating, and sleeping to interacting with family and neighbors—according to the model of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
