2024 – JOSEPH (Q. 12)

In 2024-25 we read and discussed Sura Joseph.

A Meccan surah that primarily recounts the story of Joseph, framed by an introduction in the 12th chapter about the Qur’an and a one-hundred-and-eleven-verse epilogue addressing the Meccans’ response. The surah narrates Joseph’s life, his trials, his rise to power in Egypt, and his eventual reunion with his family. It is a story of patience, integrity, forgiveness, and enduring faith in the face of adversity, culminating in the ultimate triumph of good over evil.
